Ford Bronco Research Hub
The Ford Bronco’s return to the market was one of the most anticipated automotive events in recent memory, and after years of driving one, it is clear the excitement was deserved. The Bronco is a genuine body-on-frame, four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle built to compete with, and in many ways surpass, the Jeep Wrangler. It offers a depth of off-road capability, configurability, and character that few vehicles in any segment can match. For Wisconsin drivers who want something built for adventure as a primary vehicle, the Bronco is built specifically for that purpose.

Two-Door and Four-Door Configurations
The Bronco is available in both two-door and four-door body styles, giving buyers flexibility that most off-road vehicles do not offer. The two-door model is the more traditional and lightweight option, popular with drivers who want a more agile, stripped-down off-road experience. The four-door Bronco seats five passengers comfortably and offers more interior room and a full rear seat, making it the more practical everyday choice for families or regular passengers while retaining full off-road capability. Both body styles share the same powertrain options and trim availability.
Powertrains and Off-Road Hardware
The Bronco is available with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder producing 300 horsepower as the standard engine, and an available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 330 horsepower for buyers who want more power for technical off-roading and towing. Both engines are available with a seven-speed manual transmission, a rare and appreciated feature in the modern off-road market, as well as a 10-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case is standard, and the available Sasquatch Package adds 35-inch all-terrain tires, front and rear locking differentials, and high-clearance fender flares from the factory.
Trim Levels: Base to Raptor
The Bronco lineup spans from the capable base trim through Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Wildtrak, Everglades, and the high-performance Bronco Raptor. The Black Diamond is popular with serious off-roaders who want maximum capability at a reasonable price. The Wildtrak balances adventure credentials with comfort and technology for buyers who want to use their Bronco daily. The Raptor sits at the pinnacle, featuring a 418-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6, Fox racing shocks, unique suspension geometry, and performance that genuinely pushes what is possible in a production off-road SUV.
